I absolutely love breakfast. It is honestly my favorite meal of the day and I often eat breakfast for dinner. Breakfast is truly the most important meal of the day and you should never skip it! It helps get that metabolism going and gives you that boost of energy you need to have a great successful day.

I recently was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to test out this new amazing all organic product called beeta honey! I was sent two jars one of each of their amazing gluten-free products, honey powder, and honey crystals, and I used them in a few of my favorite healthy breakfast recipes as the substitute for sugar! I was very impressed with the quality and taste.

I even tried both of them plain and they tasted so good, just like the honey you are used to just in a different form! I’ll be posting three different recipes throughout the week that featuring beeta honey as the sweetener of choice! Let’s start off with a fruit dish. I used to absolutely hate eating grapefruit. People would tell me how great they were for me and I just wasn’t having it. Then I ate a baked grapefruit and well the rest is history.

Grapefruits are a great start to your morning because they are known to help boost metabolism and reduce stress as well as strengthen your immune system! not only are grapefruits full of health benefits but they also taste amazing when baked.

Baked Caramelized 

Grapefruit with Cinnamon

METHOD

Set oven to 375 degrees. Slice grapefruit in half and remove the pith and loosen section with a knife. Place into a ramekin or dish that is oven safe. Then sprinkle 1/2 tsp of Beeta honey crystals onto the grapefruit. Sprinkle with some cinnamon and then again with 1/2 tsp of honey crystals.

Place in the oven for 15 minutes, let cool for 2-3 minutes and enjoy warm.
