Hello, welcome to fittybritttty! My name is Britney, I’m currently living in LA. I’m either found in my local CorePower Yoga studio or creating something yummy in the kitchen.

I started this blog after creating a fitness instagram page in 2014. My fitness journey, the real one, started August 2011. I grew up overweight and was aware of my weight issues but they never bothered me. One day I woke up and realized they really did upset me and I was going to change the way I felt. I walked into a Weight Watchers meeting with my mom by my side, weighed in, and haven’t looked back since.

My journey will never stop or end. I’m constantly growing, learning, and making new goals for my fitness life. I’m a work in progress, as much as I love the idea of perfection, perfection does not equal happiness. I set out on this journey to feel good about myself and that is my ultimate goal everyday to be healthy, happy, and confident with the person I am, inside and out.

My blog will talk about my journey of losing 85 pounds, my eating habits, and my exercise habits as well as some other occasional chats and hopefully some recipes (I love to cook and bake). I hope you come here to find inspiration and motivation and that by reading something here you can push yourself to reach your goals and dreams whatever they may be.

  1. What an inspiration you are to those who are just starting, in the middle or trying to break through our comfort zone and begin, our own weight loss journey:) You mentioned protein pizza crust…please share the recipe! Great work!

  2. So I just found you on IG last night and we are pretty much the same build, well at least we were till you lost all of your weight. I am 19, and currently weighing 218.8lbs and I am 5’7. I have struggled with my weight since I would say,13… And I was just wondering like how you got started in the gym, because Ive already read that you went to weight watchers.
