Wow. How is it November 1st already?! I’m in shock. October flew by and I had so much fun on my trip to NYC and before I knew it the month was over and here we are in November. It was so lovely though to get a taste of fall while I was in the city. We had a few really beautiful sunny days and a few days of rain and clouds but it was a nice change from sunny California.

While I was packing for NYC I was so excited to finally get to wear some fall pieces and to try some new trends on my trip! Fashion is so much fun and there are always new and exciting trends coming out, which I love to try. I was immediately drawn to all of the amazing faux leather leggings that have been popping up everywhere and I knew I needed a pair. I stopped by my favorite store ever, Nordstrom, to try a few pairs on. I was surprised by how many different styles were available at Nordstrom! I did a bit of research online before going in to try them on and I read great things about the TopShop branded faux leather leggings and those ended up being my favorite I tried on too. I loved that they held me in, were soft on the inside, they are high waisted, and didn’t make any noise as I walked! They also really hold in heat so they are amazing for winter too!

While I was in NYC I wore them two different ways and today I wanted to show you how to style these amazing maroon faux leather leggings! Faux leather leggings are truly so versatile and can be styled so many ways but I wanted to show you a cute weekend look and also a way to wear them in a work environment too.

For a weekend look, I paired the leggings (I’m wearing the size 12) with a chunky oversized sweater (I’m wearing the size large) and my new favorite boots (make sure you size down since these tend to run big)! This was such a fun outfit for me to wear and it was fashionable and comfortable which is exactly how I like my outfits to be.

For meetings one day while I was in the city I paired the leggings with a white long sleeve tee and an oversized boyfriend blazer and my favorite boots again! This is such a girl boss way to wear the leggings! I felt powerful and confident in this outfit.

There are literally so many more ways to style these amazing leggings — they are a great investment into your wardrobe! They would also be super cute with heels, a long oversized sweater, and you can even dress them down more with tennis shoes, an oversized tee, and a jean button up tied around your waist! Your options are endless!
