I’ve been a loyal Nordstrom shopper since I can remember. I remember every year before heading back to school my mom and dad would take me to Nordstrom to buy my entire wardrobe for the year pretty much! And I have so many memories shopping at Nordstrom with my mom and sisters for special occasions and especially for the #NSale! I’m so excited because this is the first year that I’m doing a dedicated blog post for the sale!

If you are new to the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale, not to worry! It’s basically their biggest sale of the year and they put items that are perfect for Fall on a sale, so think jackets, jeans, sweaters, boots, etc all on sale! So you can get stocked up and ready for the next season before it even arrives and at a major discounted price!

Since I live in Los Angeles and I don’t often spend time in cold weather climates I tried to pick things that would be appropriate for what I call the LA Winter, aka Fall everywhere else in the USA and I tried to find some items that I could use right now in the summer since I’m horrible at waiting. And I tried on items that I would truly buy and wear since that’s what most of you requested

JEANS (TTS, Size 12) | SWEATER (Runs Big, Size Down, Size Medium)

Starting off with my favorite outfit that I purchased from the sale! If you buy anything from this post or the sale, buy these jeans, they are flared, they are super stretchy, they are a 70s dream come true. They run TTS. And they come in sizes 00 – 24.

JEANS (Runs Big, Size Down | Size 29) | SILK TANK (TTS, Size Large)

I own these jeans already and they are one of my favorite pairs! I’ve been meaning to grab some silk tanks and I thought this one was so much fun. It would be great for a night out with the girls or a date night look1 This silk tank would be amazing as is, with a leather jacket or even paired with a jean jacket too in the fall or winter! The silk top sold out quickly but keep an eye on it if you love it and they will most likely restock it before the sale ends! Find the plus size silk tank here. I wanted to show you this top too paired with the same jeans from above! This top would be perfect for work. Pair it with a blazer and heels and you’re all set for a put-together office look!

Leopard print was ALL over the Anniversary sale and these pants caught my eye right away! They are super stretchy and super fun and I don’t own anything like them. They weren’t a perfect fit on me so I ended up not buying them but I wanted to show them to you all anyways. The sweater I’m obsessed with this. This is the perfect LA sweater, I’m considering buying it in one of the other colors too (comes in 4 colors).

Every single time it rains in LA I’m so mad that I didn’t buy a rain jacket haha so when I saw this I had to throw it on. And I just love this outfit all together! And I love the cream color of this jacket, it will go with everything.

JEANS (Runs Big, Size Down | Size 30) | OVERSIZED BLAZER (Size US 12)

Loved this oversized blazer, I couldn’t find the exact one I tried on in-store online (which means it most likely sold out) but I’m linking similar above and below! I’m really into the oversized blazer trend right now and this piece would also look great over a silk slip dress and heels! Or for an even trendier outfit pair it with black biker shorts and a sports bra and chain link belt!

JEANS (Runs Big, Size Down | Size 30) | SILK TANK (TTS, Size Large)

You girls know I love Madewell high waisted jeans more than life itself, haha, and these ones are a dream! Stretchy, high waisted, cropped (aka perfect for booties in the fall/winter) and are extremely flattering. They run big though so I suggest sizing down!

JEANS (Runs Big, Size Down | Size 30) | LONG CARDIGAN (TTS, But I Sized Up | Size 1X)

This leopard long cardigan above is SO cozy, SO soft, and SO cute! I know a lot of other bloggers snagged this sweater and I grabbed the last one at my store and sized up (two sizes because that’s all they had) so I can layer up when it’s cold!

JEANS (Runs Big, Size Down | Size 30) | CHUNKY SWEATER (TTS, Size Large or US 12)

And the chunky oversized sweater below was so chic and so cozy. It would look good with leggings too and I paired it again with the dark denim from earlier!

PANTS (TTS | Size 12) | OVERSIZED CARDIGAN (Runs Big, Size Large)

You girls are always asking for good work outfit ideas and since I do not work in a traditional office setting anymore I rarely have suggestions but when I hit the sale I wanted to make sure to try on at least one work-related outfit. These pants grabbed my attention immediately they are just the perfect color and they are fun with the bow belt. I paired it with a silk cami and this chunky color-blocked cardigan, which is sold out at the moment so I’m linking something similar! Similar sweaters here, here, here, and here.

DRESS (Runs VERY small,  size up| Size XL)

This dress caught my eye immediately. It would be a dream for a cocktail party or as a wedding guest dress and it comes in 8 different colors. It runs VERY small so size up at least 2 sizes!

DRESS (TTS, I Sized up for Length | Size XL)

Okay, here I am in leopard again but I mean come onnnnn this was too cute not to throw on and it’s perfect for summer (aka right now) and I could throw a leather jacket on in the fall/winter and a pair it with booties and bam a perfect year-long dress! I sized up for length purposes!

LEGGINGS (TTS| Size L)

I’ve been meaning to try these leggings forever and I can’t believe it took me so long to try them! They look like leather leggings but they feel like the most comfortable yoga leggings ever. They are so flattering and would pair perfectly with a big oversized sweater and booties in the fall!

I had to try on at least one activewear set because, duh! I have so many leggings and tops for workouts but these leggings are so cute and fun and I love this blue and don’t own anything like these! I didn’t buy them but I might need to order them online! They run TTS! The crop top is so soft and comfortable I would probably also wear this with jeans and back and forth to yoga and any workouts when it’s colder out. It also comes in a longer version too. And these socks below are MY FAV for working out. They don’t fall off your heel and they don’t cut my circulation off either! The perfect no show sock in my opinion!

A few pieces of jewelry I love from the sale! I own the star and moon earrings and I purchased the link chain bracelet but can’t find it online anywhere! I also love the two pieces below they would be so cute for layering!
